Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Intake: 240
Program Overview: A 2-Year MBA program designed to develop future-ready business leaders with strong managerial, analytical and leadership skills. The curriculum blends core management disciplines with case-based learning, industry projects and leadership labs.
Eligibility Criteria
- A minimum 3-year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- At least 50% aggregate marks across all years of the degree examination.
- 45% aggregate marks for Karnataka candidates from SC/ST and specified backward communities.
Selection Process (Management Quota)
- Appear for any one approved entrance exam (MAT/CAT/KMAT/PGCET).
- Write the Sahyadri Management Aptitude Test (SMAT).
- Participate in Group Discussion (GD).
- Attend a Personal Interview (PI).

- 50% Government Quota – Filled through PGCET.
- 50% Management Quota – Filled through national/state-level entrance exams (MAT, CAT, KMAT, PGCET).
Mandatory: Sahyadri Management Aptitude Test (SMAT) is compulsory along with any one approved entrance exam for Management Quota applicants.
Selection Process (Management Quota)
- Appear for any one approved entrance exam (MAT/CAT/KMAT/PGCET).
- Write the Sahyadri Management Aptitude Test (SMAT).
- Participate in Group Discussion (GD).
- Attend a Personal Interview (PI).
Final selection is made by the admission panel in accordance with university regulations.
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Intake: 60
Program Overview: A 3-Year full-time BBA program focused on 100% management education — fundamentals of business, soft skills, internships, and industry interaction to prepare students for managerial roles and entrepreneurship.

Admission Process
Admission to BBA is through merit and institutional selection procedures which may include an entrance test and interview. Specific instructions will be published each admission cycle.
MBA Entrance Exams Accepted by Sahyadri

PGCET (Government Quota)
The Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) is conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Examination is MCQ based and seat allotment is through centralized counselling based on PGCET rank.
Documents Required at Admission
- All original academic documents (mark sheets, degree certificates).
- Entrance exam scorecard(s) and category certificates (if applicable).
- Duly filled application form and passport-size photographs.
- Any other relevant certificates required by the university.
